Hi, I'm Landa

I provide comprehensive, accurate, and inclusive sexual health, safety, and relationship education for people of any age. I specialize in supporting autistic individuals, those with developmental or intellectual disabilities, and other unique learning needs. I also provide support for family members, caregivers, community organizations, and support systems as they assist others in learning more about sexual health, safety, relationships, and healthy sexuality.

How I Can Help

Everyone has the right to be educated in the area of sexual health in a way that is accurate, supported, and effective, regardless of diagnosis or learning needs. My goal is to work with individuals, families, communities, and supporting organizations to understand areas of need. Together we can find the most appropriate and effective plan to build skills and knowledge.

Land Acknowledgement

Much like many of you, I am an uninvited guest here.

My ancestors are from the shores that touch oceans in the place that is now known as Europe. They came here because there were oceans with opportunity.

As an uninvited settler, I live and work here on stolen Indigenous land.

I would like to honour the existence of the first people’s.

I acknowledge that I live and work on the Indigenous lands of the Lkwungen peoples, including the Songhees and Esquimalt people in this place now known as Victoria.

I was born on the Indigenous land of the Squamish people in the place now known as Squamish.

As an uninvited settler here, I recognize that the process and practice of allyship is ongoing and I wholeheartedly commit to find ways that I can have difficult and vulnerable conversations that are made accessible to my communities.

I honour this place where we are and my heart gives thank for:

The people whose home this is. For their resilience in the face of extraordinary efforts to erase them from the land that they have kept since time immemorial.

The natural life. From the arbutus trees glowing with life lit by the sun, to the sea-foam created as the waters rush across the life within them.

The landscape. The way the orange sun fills the spaces between the trees, which allows me to see life in the spaces between.

THank you to to pulxaneeks with heart to heart indigenous relations consultation for providing me with this template for a land acknowledgement. please visit her site to learn more about the process of allyship.
