My
Approach
I believe that everyone has a fundamental right to sexual health knowledge, education, and supports that meet their individual needs. I also believe that healthy sexual expression is a fundamental part of the human experience, something everyone should have access to, should they desire it, and so long as it conforms to relevant laws. My work centres the principles of harm-reduction across all of my recommendations and teaching approaches. I believe that knowledge is power and that keeping information from individuals or groups diminishes their power and ability to make safe and effective decisions for themselves and their communities.
I believe strongly in centring the rights, goals, preferences, and priorities of my clients. All reasonable efforts will be made to ensure that clients themselves are involved in setting goals from the outset of our relationship.
